Boerne Berges Fest

Boerne: June 15-17
It doesn't have to be October for people to gather and celebrate German culture in America. This three-day, family-friendly festival centers around the German heritage of the Boerne area and commandeers Boerne's Main Street on Father's Day weekend for an old fashioned community parade, and then continues with the "Festival in the Hills" at Herff Park/Kendall County Fairgrounds. The Boerne Berges Fest is one of Boerne's biggest festivals, attracting people from all over Texas for music from one of Texas' best German folk bands, the Berges Fest Parade, dachshund races, carnival rides for people of all ages, and more.

Stonewall Peach JAMboree & Rodeo

Stonewall: June 15-16
The 57th annual celebration of the peach crop including peach judging, crowning of The Peach Queen, parade, food, music, and rodeo.

Friday night kicks it off with a chicken pot pie dinner and a street dance.

Legends of Western Swing Music Festival

Wichita Falls: June 14-16
Since lawn chairs first circled the "stage wagon" more than 30 years ago, this festival has hosted the finest western swing bands in the country. Legendary musicians that played with Bob Wills himself, as well as new bands with a love for music and the desire to keep it alive, have graced the stage and kept the fans happy and dancin'.

Frontier Times Museum 85th Anniversary

Bandera: June 16
On May 20, 1933, the Frontier Times Museum was formally opened to the public with great ceremony. A barbecue lunch was served across the street at the First Baptist Church because the museum building was not large enough to accommodate everyone who came. This year the museum will celebrate its 85th anniversary with a barbecue dinner on the museum grounds. The museum continues to attract visitors from all over the United States and the world.

Reel United Fishing Tournament

Jasper: June 16
Southeast Texas offers unique fishing with plenty of opportunities to wet a hook, but this event at Lake Sam Rayburn brings a whole new level to the tournament circuit. At the first annual bass tournament, enjoy breakfast before a day on the water. All proceeds will benefit the United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County.

Dogwood Jamboree: Lone Star Country

Palestine: June 16
A Branson-style country music show filled with family fun, laughter, and great classic country music from some of the best artists anywhere. You will be thrilled as you recall some of the golden hits in country music as they are performed live on stage, while comedians always provide great comic relief.
