Riata Roundup Rodeo and LTX Barbecue Fest

The Diamond Cross Rodeo Company is back to produce this rodeo, and there is something for the entire family to enjoy. Thursday night kicks off with a jackpot open barrel race. Friday and Saturday, gates open with mutton bustin’ with rodeo events immediately following, plus concerts, food trucks, and vendors. On Saturday before the rodeo, the LTX Barbecue Fest kicks off.
Spring Ho

Founded in 1972, the annual Spring Ho was first held the second full weekend in July, but through the years has grown into a weeklong event. Festivities include live music, shops by the creek, entertainment for kids and families, a fireworks show, and a parade.
Toughest 10K in Texas 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

Lampasas Middle School—Bozarth Fowler Gym, 902 S. Broad St.
Runners come from all over the United States to attend this race, which is in its 44th year and held during the annual Lampasas Spring Ho Festival. Hosted by the Lampasas Chamber of Commerce, the proceeds from this race get put back into the community. The race starts and finishes at Lampasas Middle School. All races are timed and scored, and medals are given in a variety of categories. The race also features a 5K and a 1-mile fun run.
