Oktoberfest

The 13th annual Alvin Lutheran Church Oktoberfest celebrates German heritage with a delicious meal of smoked pork loin, red cabbage, German potato salad, sauerkraut, smoked sausage, tea, and water. Other foods include hot dogs, sausage on a stick, and many homemade desserts. Live entertainment is provided by Nick and The Groove, and there are live and silent auctions, games, and craft booths. Fifty percent of proceeds go to support local charities.
