Annual event celebrates the cowhands that worked the famous XIT Ranch. Includes nightly rodeo events, live music and dances, free watermelon feed Thursday and free pork chop feed Friday, a parade Saturday, the World's Largest Free Barbecue, Old Time Fiddlers' Contest, XIT Arts and Crafts Show, the La Rita Theatre XIT Melodrama, queen's contest, 5K run and more. Rita Blanca Coliseum and Rodeo Grounds, F.M. 281 at Apache Drive, and other locations.
