1 c. sugar 4 T. flour 1/2 c. melted butter 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla dash of nutmeg (optional) 9-inch uncooked pie shell Preheat oven at 415 degrees. Mix sugar and flour together until fine. Add cooled butter, beaten eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Mix and pour into a 9-inch pie crust. Bake 15 minutes at 415 degrees. Turn temperature down to 325 degrees, and continue to back until pie sets - about 25 minutes. Cool on rack; do not cut while hot.
