Barbeque Sauce


3 pints water 
1 pint white distilled vinegar 
1 heaping tsp. black pepper, medium grind 
1 heaping tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne) 
1 ground chile pepper or 1 T. chili powder 


Bring above ingredients to a boil. Use half as a basting sauce. To the other half, add the following, and serve with the meat. 
1 1/2 c. ketchup 
3/4 to 1 c. sugar 2 oz. 
Worcestershire sauce 
1 T. salt or to taste
