Celebrate Czech culture in the small town of Ennis at the National Polka Festival May 24-26. The event kicks off with the King and Queen Dance Contest on Friday night, and anyone is welcome to join in the fun and wear traditional Czech kroj. The next day is full of festivities in the historic downtown area, like a parade featuring floats with live music from polka bands as well as a performance from the award-winning Ennis High School Marching Band. Delicious Czech food is served daily, along with performances from 13 polka bands including Grammy award-winning Brave Combo.
