Spirits of the West Wine and Beef Fest

Texas winemakers, spirit distillers, and brewmasters come together with beef producers and chefs from across Texas at this open-air festival with lots of live music on the grounds of the Brewster County Courthouse.
Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Alpine’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration is a local tradition featuring a themed downtown parade, music, dancing, a car show, and the popular “Gran Mercado” (Great Market) on historic Murphy Street.
Cowboys Baseball Opening Game

Watch the Alpine Cowboys opening home game of the summer season. The Cowboys are a professional baseball team playing in the independent Pecos League.
Fourth of July Celebration

Alpine celebrates Independence Day with the annual parade, car show, live music, and fireworks. There’s also Alpine Cowboys baseball and outdoor theater. This year, civic groups are investigating and reviving past Alpine traditions for the holiday.

Theatre of the Big Bend presents a production of Ken Ludwig’s swashbuckling adventure. Packed with thrills, romance, laughter, and immortal characters like Little John, Friar Tuck, and Maid Marian, “Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood” tells the enduring story of a hero of the people who takes on the ruthless powers that be.
