Enjoy free cowboy fun in downtown Bandera. Listen to a chuckwagon storyteller, hop on a saddle-broke Longhorn, or take a horse-drawn wagon tour of Bandera. Most Saturdays, the Bandera Cattle Company Gunfighters perform gun battle reenactments at "Rattlesnake Ridge" behind the Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Hoke Bandera Endurance Trail Race

Hill Country State Natural Area, 10600 Bandera Creek Road

Endurance runners of different levels participate in this race weekend with 25K, 50K, and 100K events and a 1-mile youth race. The 100K is a standlone race on Saturday with a 24-25 hour cutoff. The 50K and 25K start Sunday morning and end Sunday night the latest.
