Hometown Fourth of July: 50 Golden Years

Granbury Chamber presents the city’s 50th annual Fourth of July celebration. For four days, the historic square of Granbury comes alive with vendors offering souvenirs, handmade crafts, food, and other goods. The highlight of the festivities is the Fourth of July parade, a tradition that kicks off the event with colorful floats, marching bands, and community organizations. The sun sets on the evening with a fireworks display that lights up the night sky over Lake Granbury.

To end the summer, the Historic Granbury Merchants Association is sponsoring a fun family festival and sidewalk sale. Shop from vendors around the square, let the kids enjoy activities at the Plaza and under the pavilion, and sing karaoke on the main stage. The city beach has kayaks, tubes, bikes, and stand-up paddleboards for rent.
