Civil War Living History Day of Learning

School groups, home-schooled children, and anyone who is interested in learning about daily life during the Civil War are invited to this event. Featured activities include living history camps, 20-plus educational stations, cannons, a gunboat, an alligator viewing, and crafts and games. Living History Camps demonstrate camp life and military activities and include a train ride aboard the Historic Jefferson Railway as the story of the Andrews Raid unfolds alongside the Big Cypress Bayou. Sign up early for train seats. 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Diamond Don RV Park.
