Historic Jefferson Train Show (CANCELED)

All aboard for two great days packed with trains. There are four destinations of this event. The Jefferson Train Show features 4,500 square feet of modular operating, train layouts, vendors, and a Kid’s Corral with crafts and games and wooded train toys. The R.D. Moses Model Railway Display is a permanent, realistic, operating display of the Texas and Pacific Railway in West Texas in the 1950s. The Historic Jefferson Railway offers train rides on an antique gas-powered locomotive that tours along Big Cypress Bayou and stops at the Diamond Don's Gator Pit to feed the alligators. Finally, the "Atalanta" has docents in period costumes that lead tours of Jay Gould's private, restored 1888 railway car.
