Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival

Get your wings on for the fourth annual Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival. The event features a People for Pollinators parade, monarch butterfly tagging demos all day long, educational booths, and family activities. The festival debuts San Antonio’s specially commissioned, first ever Waggle Dance. The event completes a weeklong celebration of science, citizen science, art, and education. The event unfolds during peak monarch migration season in the nation’s first Monarch Butterfly Champion City, so declared by the National Wildlife Federation in 2015.
