Western Frontier Days CANCELED

Relive the past with reenactments and living history displays. The grounds of Fort Lancaster are filled with tents, stations, and living history interpreters for visitors and students to learn from. The story of Fort Lancaster comes alive with soldiers, settlers, wagons, and live animals. Visitors can meet the pioneers and soldiers and hear their stories of life on the Texas frontier. Visitors can also experience daily life through observing cooking demonstrations, soldier duties, livestock, adobe brick making, and the U.S. Army Camel Corps.
