Artemis Quartett in Concert

Performing one of Beethoven's late-period quartets on the eve of his 250th birthday, the Artemis Quartett—a German ensemble— plays a full program of Beethoven's Quartet in A Minor, Felix Mendelssohns' Quartet No. 2, and Bedřich Smetana's entrancing quartet "From my Life," which contains his youthful vigor, romantic interlude, and high-pitched notes that mimic what he heard during his catastrophic hearing loss.
