"Fossils to Film: The Best of SMU Collections"

This exhibition is a selection of remarkable art and artifacts from eight distinct Southern Methodist University campus collections: Underwood Law Library, G. Williams Johns Film and Video Collection, Bywaters Special Collections, Hamon Arts Library, the Shuler Museum of Paleontology, DeGolyer Library, the Department of Anthropology, and Bridwell Library. Together, they represent one of the most important collections in North Texas, from the earliest scriptural manuscript in the state to an unparalleled collection of Texas bank notes, early photography, and artworks by influential Texas regionalist artists, many exhibited outside of their home departments for the first time.
