Texas Water Safari
Billed as the “World’s Toughest Canoe Race,” the Texas Water Safari is a 260-mile long canoe and kayak race from Spring Lake in San Marcos to the city of Seadrift on the Texas coastline. Teams travel day and night, nonstop, to compete, but teams who occasionally stop for sleep must reach mandatory checkpoint cutoff times and cross the finish line by the 100-hour deadline. Cheer the teams on at riverside parks as they set off on this grueling race.
