Symphony of the Hills in Concert
Symphony of the Hills presents "Homecoming," a concert featuring the return of former Symphony of the Hills violinist and soloist Nancy Zhou, who has gone on to become a multi-award-winning concert artist with an international career. Zhou performs Barber’s Violin Concerto. The music program also features William Grant Still’s "Poem" for orchestra, followed by Schubert’s "Unfinished Symphony," which was performed during the symphony’s first season 20 years ago. (This concert was originally scheduled to take place in February.) In order to comply with mitigation guidelines, the symphony has been reducing the size of audiences by offering two shortened performances per evening. Pending the situation in August regarding seating arrangements and concert venue, ticket sales for the concert are being announced at a later date. All tickets already purchased for the February concerts will be honored at the August concert.
