Stock Show and Rodeo

Since 1949, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo has grown to become one of the largest, most prestigious single events in the city of San Antonio, with approximately 1.5 million visitors entering the grounds each year. Over 6,000 volunteers give countless hours to our organization each year. Through scholarships, grants, endowments, junior livestock auctions, calf scramble program and show premiums the event impacts over 19,000 youth in Texas annually. The 18-day event includes a carnival, a charreada event (originally these were ranch work competitions between haciendas), tasty food, youth rodeo events, and live music. This year's concert headliners include Toby Keith, Tanya Tucker, and Brad Paisley.
