A Salute to Our Troops Appreciation Days
Gladys Porter Zoo honors veterans and active-duty military personnel this weekend. Since opening in 1971, the Gladys Porter Zoo has been dedicated to the conservation and preservation of nature. The Zoo is currently home to over 500 species of plants and animals.
