Photo: Where the Fields Meet the Silos and the Texas Sky Near Austwell

Photographer Mabry Campbell encountered these grain silos on Farm-to-Market Road 774 near Austwell last year during a drive from Rockport to his home in Houston. “It was a minimalist scene everywhere I looked,” Campbell said of the miles of harvested fields interrupted only by the road, silos, and an occasional building. “It was one of those times where you feel you just drove into a photograph.”
