Burnet

Thought of as one of the state’s best places to view wildflowers, the “Bluebonnet Capital of Texas” officially earned its nickname with a Texas Legislature designation in 1981. This small-town soiree is a can’t-miss celebration of the Texas state flower. Featured activities include live music, kids’ carnivals, beer gardens, and the annual wiener dog race through Burnet’s Historic Square.

Fiesta San Antonio has evolved into one of the country’s most renowned festivals with a huge economic impact and even bigger celebration of the diverse cultures alive in San Antonio. The mariachi festival features a performance by Mariachi Las Alteñas, San Antonio’s premier all-female mariachi band.
