Texas Highways Events Calendar

The Texas Highways Events Calendar lists events across the state that are of interest to travelers and open to the general public. Eligible events submitted by publication deadlines will be listed on TexasHighways.com, in the quarterly Texas Highways Events Calendar publication and on TravelTexas.com. While publication in Texas Highways is not guaranteed, all events submitted before these deadlines are considered for the magazine.

Listing deadlines:

  • Spring (Mar., Apr., May): Dec. 1
  • Summer (Jun., Jul., Aug.): March 1
  • Fall (Sep., Oct., Nov.): June 1
  • Winter (Dec., Jan., Feb.): Sept. 1

Event information received after publication deadlines may still be considered for the magazine and online listings—in general, the earlier a submission is received, the better the chance of a listing. All event submissions are reviewed and edited, and due to the volume of items we receive, it may take several weeks for new listings to appear online.
