Locke Family Chicken Fried Steak

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients

3 pounds tenderized Round Steak

1 1/2 cups milk

2 eggs

2 cups all purpose white flour

Pinch salt and pepper

1 cup olive oil

Preparation

Cut steak into six slices and tenderize.

Combine milk and eggs; whisk and set aside.

Mix together flour, salt and pepper.

Coat both sides of steak with flour mixture.

Dip coated meat in egg/milk mixture.

Again coat both sides of steak with flour mixture.

Heat olive oil. Drop coated steak into hot oil.

Fry until gold brown on both sides. Approxiamately 4-5 minutes per side.

Rest steak on paper towel.
