Pride in Local Music

Pride in Local Music is a dynamic music festival that began during the pandemic as a way for the Austin LGBT Chamber to support Austin’s live music scene and creative economy. Since its inception, the Chamber has supported more than 20 local LGBTQIA artists through the festival.

Boz Scaggs is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. An early bandmate of Steve Miller in The Ardells and the Steve Miller Band, he began his solo career in 1969, though he lacked a major hit until his 1976 album, “Silk Degrees.” He’s known for his 1976 songs “Lido Shuffle” and “Lowdown.”
