Students 2nd through 6th grade participate with Janet, and the community has a chance to view.

“Ann: The Ann Richards Story”

Derrick Days

Derrick Days is the largest annual festival in Corsicana, held the last weekend in April. Celebrate the city’s oil history with dozens of delicious food trucks, specially curated craft vendors, a vintage car show, and a block party with live music.

Mrs. Texas Pageant

This Texas tradition continues as the Palace hosts the Mrs. Texas Pageant. Events include a fitness competition, private interview, and an evening gown contest. This pageant is the only official state final to Mrs. America and Mrs. World, and the only Texas pageant dedicated solely to married women.

From the progenitors of rock ‘n’ roll in the ‘40s through the glory years of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s, up until MTV in the early ’80s, composer Neil Berg’s “50 Years of Rock ‘n’ Roll” uses fascinating stories and groundbreaking music with tributes to important rock stars and groups such as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Simon and Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Journey.
