It’s a fun, safe, and festive way to celebrate Halloween in the heart of Georgetown, with activities for ghosts and goblins of all ages.
Lighting of the Square

Kick-off the holiday season with the annual Lighting of the Square on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Downtown holiday lights remain lit every evening through January 1st. Entertainment during the event is provided by the Uptown Carolers. Toy donations to the Georgetown Police Department Blue Santa and to Williamson County Brown Santa are encouraged.
Coffee and Cocoa Crawl

In conjunction with Small Business Saturday, holiday shoppers are invited to kick off the season with tastings of coffee and cocoa while supporting local businesses.
