Scurry County Senior Center May Day
May 4
The Coliseum, 900 E. Coliseum Drive
Volunteers from the Scurry County Senior Center work all year sewing, quilting, crafting, and planning for the annual May Day celebration. Booths are open with baked goods and homemade crafts. There’s a silent auction, cake and pie auction, quilt auction, and entertainment from the Deep Creek Cloggers and a local band. Brisket plates are available as well. All proceeds go to the Scurry County Senior Center.
West Texas Western Swing Festival
June 12-15

Western swing is the official music of Texas, and Snyder celebrates with RV spots for rent, vendors, a concession stand, all-day dancing, and nine top-tier musicians for your boot-scootin’ needs.

Deep Creek Expo
July 3-4
Towle Park Armory, 3000 Towle Park Road
The Deep Creek Expo is a large vendor market that occurs five times per year. Each of the five Deep Creek Expo events hosts over 40 vendors from all across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Find clothing, décor, jewelry, mugs, spices, candles, candy, and children’s items.
Independence Day Celebration

Snyder pulls out all the stops for Independence Day. It’s a big celebration with vendors, music, fireworks, and fun. Admission is free.
