FC TXHWYS NOV16Have you ever wanted to be in the pages of Texas Highways magazine? We’re helping to make that happen. In the November issue of the magazine, which subscribers should be receiving any day now, you’ll find a page that’s waiting for your special touch.

Use this page, found in the Events section, to draw your own Texas-themed image or message. You can draw a mock-up cover of the magazine. That’d be fun! Maybe depict your favorite Texas landmark or paste in one of the  gorgeous Texas photos you’ve taken. The ideas are endless, but just have fun in getting this one message across: “I Love Texas!” Of course, our feelings wouldn’t be hurt if you wanted to say “I Love Texas Highways!” 🙂

Don’t worry about your artistic abilities. No matter where your talents lie, a winning entry is all about heart. True Texas heart!

Have fun in getting this one message across: “I Love Texas!” Of course, our feelings wouldn’t be hurt if you wanted to say “I Love Texas Highways!” 🙂 Submit your entries on this Facebook posting.

Take a photo of your masterpiece and share it on this Facebook posting. We’ll select a few to receive our gorgeous 2017 Texas Highways calendar and an “I’m a True Texan” sticker. We’ll give away at least five calendars, but we give ourselves the liberty to give away more. But we’ll give you some time. Winners will be selected mid-November. Follow the posting for details.

Make it a collaborative effort with family and friends, or go solo, but get your creative juices flowing. Children’s entries welcome, too! We can’t wait to see what you create!
