The main entrance roads to Big Bend National Park offer about 50 meandering miles of glorious scenery.
This view to the north is found about two miles inside the park from its western entrance sign and about a mile from the Maverick entrance station. Farther inside the park, also explore Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive, which highlights the geology and cultural history of the area and offers scenic overlooks and exhibits.
