Could it be that in this day and age the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is better known for its bounty of concerts than bull riding? It depends on who you ask. But one could make the case, especially considering the lineup of performers just announced for 2020.
With concerts following the rodeo at NRG Stadium for 16 consecutive nights starting March 3, the shows draw a range of fans who might not otherwise turn out to watch feats of cowboy ability. The lineup carries a strong Texas twang with performers ranging from Willie Nelson, who lives in Spicewood, to Khalid, the pop singer from El Paso. Here’s the full lineup for the annual party:
