Traces of Texas reader Patrick Kominczak kindly sent in this 1950s photo of his mother-in-law and her co-workers at Prince’s Drive-in on Main Street in Houston. Kominczak’s mother-in-law was a waitress there and, apparently, a truck full of Southern Select beer came through one day. Kominczak did not say which woman is his mother-in-law, but it’s still a killer photo. I love that they are holding Southern Select bottles on their trays. What a blast from the past!
