Every week, Traces of Texas shares one of his vintage photo finds with us.

“James Hefley kindly shared this remarkable photo of Elvis eating breakfast at the Little Shamrock Cafe in Cleveland, Texas, on September 12, 1957. Aline Landrum was his waitress that morning. Landrum passed away last year at the age of 92. She recalled that Elvis ordered a big breakfast consisting of two eggs, an order of bacon, a double order of toast, coffee, pancakes, a piece of chocolate pie, and a Pepsi Cola. The breakfast of kings, I reckon.”
