Stroll past beautiful, festive, and fun Christmas lights along the Llano River in the annual Starry Starry Nights Lighted Christmas Park. From Nov. 29-Dec. 31, the Llano County Courthouse is adorned with lights that spread out toward Badu Park, where guests are welcomed with hot chocolate and a walk under arches made of Christmas lights. Santa Claus makes an appearance on select days from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. so kids—and adults!—can get their pictures taken with him and tell him what they want for Christmas. There’s also cookie decorating and marshmallow roasting each day, and a one-day-only Snow Day on Dec. 14 where guests can sled down an artificially snowy slope.
