H.D. Bugbee Western Art Exhibit

Harold D. Bugbee was an American Western artist and illustrator. Born in Massachusetts, his family moved to the Texas Panhandle when he was a teenager, and he took to ranch life through sketching its landscapes and daily activities. His career would involve commissions by publications like "Field and Stream" in the 1940 and '50s, and he once served as curator of Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon, Texas.
