In A Pickle Festival

Created in 2019 to bring some fun and liveliness back to Kingwood after Hurricane Harvey, this festival, which also brings awareness to Hunter Syndrome, attracts up to 10,000 people each year. The event features an average of 75 unique crafters plus food trucks and vendors that carry at least one pickle-related item, such as pickle pizza, pickle ice cream, pickle desserts, fried pickles, pickle beer, and pickle lemonade. Activities include pickle-eating and juice-drinking competitions for kids and adults, a pickle home-canning contest for the public, free entertainment for kids, local live bands, and a mechanical bull.
