Dave Dalton Thomas
Dave is an Austin-based writer who specializes in the juncture of Texas history, Texas culture, and Texas characters. He’s an odd mix of Aggie, Eagle Scout, outlaw, honky-tonker, and historian. His first book, Picnic: Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Tradition, is due out from Texas A&M University Press on April 15.
