Brownsville

The southernmost city in the state, Brownsville offers the history, culture, traditions, and languages of two countries. Matamoros, Mexico, is just across the Rio Grande. Visitors enjoy tennis, fishing, nature viewing, swimming, hiking, biking, birding, and kayaking. Events include the Charro Days Fiesta and the Latin Jazz Festival.
