Blueberry Festival of Quilts
June 10-11
Come enjoy beautifully created quilts made by members of the Nacogdoches Quilters Guild. This festival is part of the annual Texas Blueberry Festival and takes place June 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and June 11th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fredonia Hill Baptist Church.
Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park

The Texas Blueberry Festival kicks off with the Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park in downtown. Organizers encourage attendees to bring blankets and lawn chairs. The concert features three well-known musical acts, Little Roy and Lizzy, The Baker Family, and Catahoula Drive, as well as a special appearance by up-and-coming group the Gent Mountain Grassburs. Food trucks are on site, so please leave coolers and alcohol at home. Pets on a leash are welcome. Parking is available downtown, and a free shuttle service to the concert venue is at First Baptist Nacogdoches.
Texas Blueberry Festival

This daylong celebration of the blueberry harvest is the only state-sanctioned blueberry festival in Texas. The delicious annual event attracts more than 19,000 people to downtown Nacogdoches on the second Saturday in June. Stay for the week or weekend and fill your calendar with a smorgasbord of activities and entertainment, including live music, blueberry picking, auto exhibits, shopping, and restaurant specials.
Running of the Blueberries

The Running of the Blueberries presented by Pilgrim’s Nacogdoches is open to fun-run enthusiasts and their furry running buddies. The 5K and 10K routes are on the wooded and shaded Lanana Creek Trail in Nacogdoches. Dog owners are invited to walk or run with their leashed furry companions and register pets for a logo-ed bandana.
Juneteenth Celebration

Nac Snack Friday

Food trucks, live music, and cold brews create a relaxed environment every fourth Friday of the month in downtown Nacogdoches. Beverages are available from local favorite Flashback Cafe. Food trucks are parked on both sides of the Visitors Center (Fredonia and Pecan streets) and Pilar Street is blocked off from traffic for seating. Live music starts in the afternoon. Check out beautifully kept vehicles with the Nac Classic Car Club.
Freedom Fest Weekend
