Goliad

“Remember Goliad” became a Texas Revolution battle cry honoring Col. James W. Fannin Jr. and his men who were massacred at the order of Mexican Gen. Santa Anna. Courthouse Square Historic District is in the National Register of Historic Places, and a downtown walking tour is available. Market Days are the second Saturday.
